Celebrating over 100 years of service, Citrus College is located in Glendora in the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains, approximately twenty-five miles northeast of metropolitan Los Angeles. The college has the distinction of being the oldest community college in Los Angeles County and the fifth oldest in the state.
City of Hope is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of people with cancer, diabetes and other life-threatening illnesses. Foothill Unity Center, a multi-service agency, serves as the region’s primary provider of integrated services that help individuals and families move out of poverty to reach economic stability. Our program model helps to advance equity in the San Gabriel Valley community. We are providing access and opportunities, removing barriers for the low-income and working poor, providing a safety net to the disadvantaged to prevent homelessness, and supporting the underserved homeless population by addressing their full spectrum of needs for the whole family.
Forever Kids is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization with the mission of helping meet needs of kids, youth, and their families in body, mind, and spirit. The Case for Character Project gives brand-new suitcases to foster kids to replace the trash bags they are given to move their things from home to home. The Project Foundation provides foundational materials to help kids and families become productive and successful.
